I went to see my obstetrician yesterday and she said that my results have come out to be normal. That's a big relief. I have been eating so much of sweets that I was worried that it will be high this time. But it all depends on how much insulin is produced in the body during pregnancy. In some women, because of the extra pressure on pancreas, it's not able to produce sufficient insulin and as a result it leads to high blood sugar. Women who are diagnosed with Gestational diabetes have to take extra care towards their diet and some might have to take a insulin injection. Thank God, I don't have it and now I can enjoy eating mangoes :)
